Who is The Funded Blogger?

Well, I’m not going to tell you.

I know what you are probably thinking – why would someone who claims to be a successful blogger in this age of openness choose to hide his identity. That I will tell you. There are several reasons why I would choose not to share my real name or photo. The biggest is those family members, you know the ones, who would be showing up daily with their hands out if they knew how much I really make online. I would rather keep my name off of the Google search, thankyouverymuch. Another reason would be my job, that I love passionately, but is not exactly “blog friendly”.

And for another thousand smaller reasons, from wanting privacy for my kids to enjoying the honesty that comes from anonymity, I am choosing to stay hidden.

So why should you trust an anonymous blogger?

The basic answer is, you shouldn’t. But let me expand that a little to say that you should not really trust any blogger. At least, not until your trust has been earned. A blogger may set up a blog with his full name, picture, address, and even personal phone number. But that mean he or she isn’t just pulling your leg about what they are talking about?

Absolutely not!

In fact you can not even be sure that the open bloggers are who they say they are. It isn’t hard to set up an email account with a fake name and picture. The difference if that I’m being honest about it. And I’m telling you that it doesn’t matter either way. What really matters if what I’m telling you here works for you. So sit back, click around, read a few of the posts here and see for yourself if you trust me. If you do, subscribe to the feed by RSS or Email. If not, feel free to walk away.
